Kids Matter Too was launched to connect Coloradans with lawmakers in order to build support for legislative funding decisions that would increase resources for Colorado’s local school districts.

Colorado needs to step up to the plate for our kids, because they matter, too. Colorado has been under funding education for so long that things like teacher pay, special education, and mental health services have suffered. Colorado schools should provide competitive compensation to retain high quality teachers, and schools need resources to fully fund special education and mental health services.

All students deserve the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Our kids deserve better and lawmakers must act now to enhance the level of education in our schools.

Let’s come together to properly fund Colorado’s schools. Our Kids Matter Too.
